THINGS THAT MAKE AND BREAK (2022)
This sculpture depicts the struggle each of us go through in life. We are brought into the world perfect, but as life goes on, people and circumstances try to bend us to match their version of perfection. As we bend, cracks and breaks will start to form, but as life goes on we begin to realise that these are the things that make us. By embracing these breaks, we become stronger and find the person we were destined to become.
THINGS THAT MAKE AND BREAK (Male sculpture) - Ceramic piece mounted on copper pipes, combining two individually made pieces, which embrace the Kintsugi Philosophy.
